She knew her purpose

Marian and I met while she worked at syngenta. She was assigned to work with me on a side project at another organization. While we worked endlessly, we also found time to talk about our lives in general. At one time ,we shared about our goals and visions. I admired her career as she did mine (yet we both wanted something different);  the grass is always greener on the other side. A deeper converstion revealed that Marian was discontent with the comfort zone she had found at her workplace (she had mastered all her duties and responsibilities), she wanted more. She specifically wanted to impact peoples lives directly. She has an unquenched thirst and a passion burning inside her. She also wanted a God fearing man to walk the journey. A few months later, I attended her wedding! Around that time, she quit her job and pursued her passion soon after. I imagine this wasnt an easy decision ( changing careers). She moved on to what she loved, a BOLD step indeed. Reading her tributed assures me that she lived a full life and glad she did! To Thayu, your mother was a courageous woman who went for what she wanted. She may be gone but her impact on peoples lives remain, a legacy that lives on.

RIP dear Marian, forever cherished.
