I met Marian in church CTR during the hymn night where she was ministering together with Alex....but on a personal level we interacted with her during our PMCC class where they were leaders and facilitators. My wife then we were still courting fell in love with this beautiful couple,they have always walked together and were a role model to many of us. We then approached them to best couple us during our wedding and to our suprise they gladly accepted despite the fact that Alex was an Elder.....but later on due to pregnancy complications they stepped down but still went ahead to appoint another couple to walk with us....this was so touching and encouraging and til her death they never left us always checking on us. When we got our first baby I can't remember how many times they came through with gifts for baby Axel last being a month a go in Dec. As a family we have lost a mentor a mother and a companion. We pray for Alex and Thayu together with the family that God will give you the strength and peace during this time. May your soul Marian rest in eternal peace til we meet in Heaven.
